JUN LOFAMIA is a komiks veteran who became a household name in the local komiks industry soon after he started illustrating for the top entertainment magazines in the country such as LIWAYWAY, BISAYA, HILIGAYNON, and BANNAWAG. He was inspired and influenced by a number of top-caliber talents including Nestor Redondo, Alfredo Alcala, Francisco Coching as well as American illustrators like Frank Frazetta, Alex Raymond, Alex Toth, and Joe Kubert.

Known for his lavish artistry, Lofamia eventually work internationally, drawing for top publishers such as Marvel and DC Comics, and had a stint as an artist for one of the most popular vampire characters in comic book history, Vampirella. He is also among the top artists who worked for well-received animated movies such Anastasia, Titan A.E., and Bartok The Magnificent. He also worked for Fox Animation Studios in Arizona, USA and in Japan, where he helped create the Japanese versions of the Three Musketeers and Sherlock Holmes.

Jun currently works for Liwayway Publication’s magazine covers, comic novels and spot illustrations.
