Joining his wife in Cassis, France, where she was painter-in-residence, Alan Armstrong became friendly with a sailing school instructor and his dog, Rodeo. He also became intrigued with the region. As a result, he created these letters, written by the dog, Rodeo, in France to the author's dog in Hatfield, Massachusetts. Full of dog lore, humorous anecdotes of life in Cassis and some reflections on the devastation of World War II, Regards, Rodeo is an unusual story that will appeal to dog fanciers and francophiles.
